The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made via the internet, telephone or in person. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.

This is a legally binding contract between the property owner, Bwch yn Uchaf and the holidaymaker. The property owner is also referred to as "we" and "us".

The guest is the person who signs the booking form or, in the case of online booking, the person who makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members the stay accept and adhere to these terms and conditions. The guest is also referred to as "you".

The property referred to being Bwch Yn Uchaf.


A booking deposit is payable when making the booking. The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid in full and funds cleared through the banking system (where appropriate). The booking then becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, it can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.

The balance of the stay is payable not less than 1 week prior to the start of the holiday. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will constitute a cancellation of the stay by the holidaymaker. Please be sure to note the due dates of these payments as reminders are not routinely issued.

Bookings made less than 1 week prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Our B&B is adult only (18+), Pet free & nonsmoking property. If found, then we will ask the guest/s to vacate the property immediately without refund.

Only the paying guest & 1 other guest (if applicable) is authorized to stay in the room.

Deposit is only refundable up until 1-week before check in date. We will not refund or offer alternative dates if check in is less than 1 week away.

Prices shall be charged in the local currency of the B&B, which is GBP.

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/identity card/driving licence. If guests are travelling from outside the UK, Ireland, or any country in the Commonwealth we are also obliged by law to require guests to provide the number and place of issue of your passport/identity card and details of their next destination. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information above may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 16 and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.


All our rooms are on first floor which is only accessible by stairs.


We accept all credit/debit cards, and we use "Stripe" as our payment software.


We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the B&B during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.


Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made, and some things do change. The guest accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.

The property owner reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.

The property owner is entitled to ask the gust to leave the property without any refund if, in the property owner's opinion, the behaviour of the guest and/or his/her party is unacceptable.

The property owner reserves the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the guest and/or their party be considered by the property owner to be unreasonable.

Number of Guests

The maximum number of people entitled to stay per room is 2 and furthermore, only those people named on the booking form are entitled to stay. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the guest and his/her party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. Sub letting or assignation of the let is prohibited.

Every effort will be made to have the property available from 4pm on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made. Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided once full payment has been received.


The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker's party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker.


Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the guest to make any such problem known to the property owner (or their representative) immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.

The property owner will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.

The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes not available, and the property owner has to cancel the booking, the property owner will endeavour to find the guest suitable alternative accommodation. If suitable alternative accommodation cannot be found, the guest shall be entitled to a full refund. The property owner shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.

Force Majeure

The Company accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
